Graduating from Glenville High School, she attended Case Western Reserve University and the College of Jewish Studies, obtaining the first Bachelor of Judaica Studies degree awarded by the College of Jewish Studies in 1971. Stadtler served as an educator at B'nai Jeshurun Congregation, Beth Sholom, the Cleveland Hebrew Schools, and the Temple-Tifereth Israel. Stadtler served as registrar at the College of Jewish Studies from 1960-1983 and as assistant editor of the Israel Philatelist. She was active in the Cleveland Holocaust Center. The author of six books and articles, stories and poems that appeared in more that twenty different publications, she also co-wrote a rock opera and created an award-winning filmstrip. He was the son of Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver, who preceded and served with him at The Temple. Prior to his years at The Temple, Daniel Jeremy Silver was rabbi at Congregation Beth Torah of Chicago Heights, Illinois. He became senior Rabbi of The Temple in 1963, serving until his death. He was active in local Cleveland Jewish and secular affairs, particularly with Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Jewish Community Federation's Public Welfare Committee. He was also active in the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the National Foundation for Jewish Culture, and the Zionist Organization of America.
